“Sanctions against Russia are not a solution. This decision is good only for those who do not want to cooperate,” said Filip Vojtech. He also stressed that the Czech Republic argued against unreasonable restrictions.
He noted that the goal of the Second International Forum “Development of Parliamentarism”, which is being held in Moscow, is cooperation and the creation of new opportunities for cooperation between nations.
This Forum, as he said, helps to develop parliamentary diplomacy, to provide opportunities “for addressing those important issues that are not still resolved”, as well as “opportunities for new cooperation between Russia and the European Union.”
The Second International Forum
”Development of Parliamentarism“ is held on the initiative
of the State Duma on July 1–3. This year representatives
of 132 states participate in the Forum. About 800 foreign guests
and delegations from 14 international parliamentary organizations take
part in the events. 41 speakers representing the national
parliaments participate in the Forum. The Forum will also host the Parliamentary Conference “Russia-Africa”.
