The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
met with representatives of the business community of South Korea on April 22. During the meeting, the possibilities of implementing investment projects and creating joint ventures were discussed.
Viacheslav Volodin noted that “relations between Russia and the Republic of Korea are actively developing: trade turnover is growing, a lot is being done in the parliamentary dimension, we have a necessary legislative basis for the development of foreign trade relations.”
“The last meeting of President Vladimir Putin and President of South Korea Moon Jae-in gave a significant impetus to the relations of our countries,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
The meeting was attended by LOTTE RUS CEO, Chairman of the Board of Directors of KOREA EXCHANGE BANK RUS LLC, Chairman of the Association of Korean Entrepreneurs in Russia, Posco RU CEO and Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Russia Woo Yoon-keun.
