Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast) conveyed the greetings of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Emir of Qatar. The Emir of Qatar commended the level of development of relations between Russia and Qatar. 

“The Emir of Qatar expressed support for the steps being taken by Vladimir Putin in the Middle East. He commended the development of inter-parliamentary relations of our countries and especially noted the efforts of parliamentarians and the Committee of the State Duma on International Affairs on building relations at the inter-parliamentary level, developing new formats of cooperation,” Viacheslav Volodin told reporters at the end of the meeting.

The official visit of the delegation of the State Duma headed by Viacheslav Volodin to Doha takes place on April 6–7. The Chairman of the State Duma will take part in the events of the 140th IPU Assembly and will deliver a speech at the plenary session. He will hold several bilateral meetings.
