and President of the National Assembly of the Socialist
Republic of Vietnam Mrs. Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngân, during the visit of Viacheslav
Volodin to Vietnam on December 24, 2018, followed by a corresponding
instruction of the Chairman of the State Duma.
The conversation was dedicated to the issues of integration of Vietnamese that live in Russia into Russian realities, as well as problems of their adaptation.
The Vietnamese side expressed deep gratitude to the Soviet Union and the Russian Federation for their tremendous assistance in the liberation, construction, and development of their country. Six blocks of problems, which require attention to allow Vietnamese permanently residing in Russia to more effectively and fully engage in various areas of bilateral
cooperation, were identified.
The parties agreed to carefully study these issues with relevant ministries and departments of the Russian Federation.
