noted that “most Russian
women are focused on full employment and career growth, but at the same time,
commitment to traditional family values, including the birth and upbringing of children, remains an important factor for them.”
In her opinion, digital technologies provide great opportunities in this sphere. “It is not surprising that their rapid growth has recently been marked,” the parliamentarian noted. “Therefore, the involvement of our women in digital tools is one of the priorities,” added Deputy Chairwoman of the State Duma.
“In this regard, in our country, special educational and outreach programs, which help to master these tools and turn their passion into a source of income, are being created for women entrepreneurs-beginners,” said Olga Epifanova.
“This knowledge enables an entrepreneur to set up his/her online store in a very short period of time, connect all payment systems, translate his/her website into all languages of the world — and thus declare himself/herself to the whole world,” the parliamentarian said.
“I’m sure this will create the necessary conditions for employment, overcoming poverty, improving the quality of people’s lives, and ultimately conditions to preserve peace,” concluded Olga Epifanova.
Within the framework of the forum, a bilateral meeting with the President of the Cambodian Parliament Heng Samrin was also held.
