said, it is necessary ”to assume the fact that there should be either
a good excuse or we should make a report that someone is not able [to participate]”
“Once again, we have a double responsibility,” Chairman of the State Duma stressed. — When a person receives support of the State Duma members, members of the Federation Council
and becomes a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union
State [responsibility increases]. We address
the issues that citizens expect us to do that, and every time we talk about why
we do not have a faster progress.”
Chairman of the State Duma noted that if there are no acceptable excuses to not participate in the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly, it might be worth thinking about the rotation of parliamentarians by the representative authorities that sent them to the PA.
