told parliamentary reporters.
“In this regard, we are considering the possibility to send a statement on the inadmissibility of inciting religious hatred and persecution of Ukrainian believers and clergy to the OSCE PA, other inter-parliamentary organizations and national parliaments of European countries.
It is a time for the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly to assess the actions of Kiev and Petr Poroshenko personally. It is necessary to take actions that will force the Ukrainian authorities to stop the pressure on the clergy and parishioners. There is pressure on the clergy of Ukraine, searches and interrogations are being conducted,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
In addition, Viacheslav Volodin did not rule out that the parliamentarians will prepare legislative proposals providing for a special procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship by Ukrainians who are victims on religious grounds.
